For the diameter of the main axis (d) a range of values should be determined, e.g. 0.35–0.5(–0.7) mm; the value in parantheses stands for an exceptional dimension. In coralloid systems very often there is no difference between diameter of unramified ends and diameter of axes. (For the determination process with DEEMY the exceptional values cannot be included.)
