Morphology Morphology of rhizomorphs

morphology rhizomorphs diameter

unit: mm

Measurements should only be taken from rhizomorphs at the vicinity of mycorrhizae. Distal and young parts of rhizomorphs as well as those close to the fruitbodies are atypically thin, respectively thick. A range of values should be determined, e.g. 0.1–0.25(–0.5) mm; the value in parantheses stands for an exceptional dimension. (For the determination process with DEEMY the exceptional values cannot be included.)

Minimum value
Lower value of unspecified range (could be µ-s.d., but not known)
Mean (= average)
Upper value of unspecified range (could be µ+s.d., but not known)
Maximum value
