Most of the time, the mantle of the very tip is only slightly different from the remaining parts of the mantle, if at all. Only the hyphal walls can be somewhat thinner and the hyphae can be looslier, however they can also be denslier arranged. Such differences are of minor importance. In such cases 'like other parts of mantle' has to be chosen.
