Anatomy Anatomy of the emanating elements in general Anatomy of rhizomorphs
Hyphae of rhizomorphs form irregular, nodia-like ramifications at their septa, which occur in great often identical or at least similar distances; these nodia-like structures are the origin of several anastomoses forming connections to neighbouring hyphae at unramified positions. Such inflations are formed repeatedly within the rhizomorph, without causing an external appearance. |
