Remarks

public notes
  Applying the currently used species concept, that is based on fruitbody anatomy, it can only be determined as S. muscicola, despite slight variations of morphological and anatomical features. The moderate identity values of ITS sequences obtained from fruitbody maerial of the here characterized Sistotrema specimen and the previously published S. muscicola collection are, however, clearly out of the range accepted for intraspecific sequence variability.
